We are collecting old Mobile phones for Support Dogs, so bring them along

Hi guys

I was watching Noels HQ tonight and they are launching an appeal to colect old mobile phone handsets to raise money for Support Dogs.

Support Dogs work with an individual to enable them to live independent lives. Some dogs can sense their owners oncoming epileptic seizures and warn them to get to a safe place before the seizure happens. Other dogs can help their owners get dressed, open doors, empty washing machines and collect the post. Amazing eh!!

Each support dog costs £10,000 to train, which equates to roughly 2000 handsets.

So if you or parents/friends/relatives or neighbours have any old handsets they would like to donate to this worthy cause, plese bring them along to Scouts or Explorers where I will collect them and then send them on.
