Edenbridge Scouts railse money for Edenbridge Hospital - 16-12-2006
The Scouts went bag packing at the local Co-op Supermarket, Mount Saint Aignan Way on Saturday 16th December.
Ian Kilner, Scout Leader, and Tom Crittenden, the assistant scout leader, put the idea to the Scouts, aged between 10 and 14 years who were then happy to give up their Saturday before Christmas for such a good cause
Customers rewarded the team by donating their spare change and the group raised £742 towards the cause.
Members of the 1st Edenbridge Scout Group presented the money to hospital League of Friends chairman Dr Andrew Russell at their headquarters in Station Road on Monday 22nd January.
