Setting up Winter Camp
Whether your child is already in Scouting or is joining soon, take a look at our
revised webpages and find out about the benefits of Scouting for your child.
We know that you play a big part in your child's involvement in Scouting through
both practical support and encouragement.

Events in 2012
The Scout Group this year would like to involve you and your young people in this years activities
- Jan 27th we have a quiz night for you and friends at the WI hall with a fish and chip supper £12.50 a head plus a paying bar.
- Jan 28th stargazing live connected to the BBC at the Edenbridge rugby club Lingfield road sports ground run by the Edenbridge astronomers
- Feb 10th 11th 12th INVICTA Mountaineering Club ( The IMC is formed entirely from volunteers from within Scouts and Guides. )
They are off to Coniston for a Winter weekend training for the over 12's.This is something you can join in without the Scout leaders Ian and TC. Estimated costs £65.

- Feb 26th a sponsored swimathon in Edenbridge.Lets all get involved
- April (6th 7th 8th 9th) Easter Weekend bag packing at the Coop.Raising money to be shared between a childrens charity and summer camp.
- June 4th Edenbridge pram race the Edenbridge festival group will be providing the BBQ.
Other events
- Red nose day again for all
- Sailing for young people
- Scalextric's for the Dads and young people
- Hikes for all
- Bike rides for all
- Bike ride camp weekend
- Working party at the HQ
I know it is only January but this year is going to be busy for the group, and you are a member of the group as a parent we need your support and help.
But most of all we want you to enjoy it.

We are currently looking to fill the following voluntary positions:
- Assistant Scout leader - Young leader required to assist with the Scout section which meets on Fridays
- Fundraising team
- Group Secretary
