Explorers

Beaufighters Explorer Unit meet every Wednesday during term time. We meet at the Scout Headquarters from 7.30 - 9.30pm (although maybe a later finish depending on the activity). Explorer Scouts are aged between 14 - 18, and open to both male and females.

With the Beaufighters you can continue to gain activity badges, as you can with the other scout sections. We also support our Explorer Scouts to work towards The Duke of Edinburgh Awards, and ultimately the Queens Scout Award.

We work with the Explorers to plan a varied and progressive programme ensuring that they take part in outdoor activites, taking increasing responsibilty for themselves and others, making choices for themselves and most importantly enjoying what they are doing.
